Sweepstakes winnings

I recently won the Marlboro sweepstakes Prze 5000$ american express gift of travel along with a check for 1,700$ Due to illness I have been unemployed for the year with no income whatsoever and on foodstamps living with my elderly mother.

I am Male 38 years old. Will I have to pay any taxes on the win if my total income for the year was the 6,738.99 Total approximate retail value ( ARV ) from the win ?
