ROHIT BOUHT A TAPE RECORDER FOR RS 1,500 AND SOLD IT FOR RS 1,800. CALCULATE ITS PROFIT OR LOSS PERCENT.


The profit and loss percent for the above transaction can be calculated as follows:

SALE = 1800
COST = 1500
PROFIT = 300
PROFIT PERCENT = 20% (300/1500)
