Amend a Tax Return

I just efiled my 2010 tax return and mistakenly added a 2011 W2 should I wait for the refund and then amend the return and pay the difference?

Amending Tax Return

My wife and i prepared our 2010 returns together using Turbo Tax and submitted them via NetFile. My wife has premiums for private health insurance paid via payroll deductions which is tax deductible but we failed to claim it. We plan to file an amendment via the CRA website. However it is benefical for us to claim the deduction on my return. Do we just file the amendment on my return or do we have to amend both?

AMENDED RETURN

I FILED AN AMENDED RETURN LAST YEAR BECAUSE OF A MISTAKE. I PAID AN ADDITIONAL $1800 FOR FEDERAL TAXES AND $258 FOR IL TAXES. CAN THESE PAYMENTS BE CLAIMED ANYWHERE ON THIS YEAR'S TAXES? I FILE A 1040 WITH A SCHEDULE A.
